What it takes to get into the network
Business verification
Painters are checked against standard New Zealand business registration details, not just a name and a promise, before they receive a single enquiry.
Ongoing standards
Providers agree to respond to matched enquiries within a reasonable window and to quote honestly on the job described.
Removed for repeat issues
Consistent complaints or a pattern of no-shows gets a provider removed from the network rather than quietly kept on.
How reviews will work
Once a matched enquiry turns into a completed job, we'll ask the customer for honest feedback and publish it here against the actual suburb and service, not as an anonymous star count with no story behind it. If a provider's feedback turns up consistent problems, they're removed from the network rather than quietly kept on.
