About Infinity Painters
Infinity Painters is a free matching service. We connect New Zealand homeowners and businesses with vetted local painters for interior, exterior, roof, and commercial work. We don't paint anything ourselves; we connect the right local business to your enquiry, once.
How the matching actually works
Infinity Painters is operated by Tetrahedron Group Ltd, trading as Infinity Leads, a New Zealand company that runs a small network of niche sites, each focused on a single trade. When you submit a free quote request, it goes to one vetted painter who covers your area and the type of work you asked for. They contact you directly to confirm details and arrange a quote or site visit.
That's a deliberate design choice, not a limitation. Most comparison-style sites forward your details to several companies at once, which usually means a run of phone calls in the same afternoon. We think one considered conversation with a painter who's actually available and actually covers your suburb is a better experience, for you and for the business on the other end.
On the other side of the network, painting businesses register through our provider page to receive enquiries in their coverage area. That's what funds the free matching service on this side.
Standards
What it takes to join the network

Business verified
Painting isn't a licensed trade in New Zealand the way electrical or plumbing work is, so we check standard business registration details before a provider joins the network.
Ongoing standards
Providers agree to respond to matched enquiries within a reasonable window and to quote honestly on the job described. Consistent complaints get a provider removed from the network.
One provider per enquiry
Each request is matched to a single painter covering your area and the work you need, not shared across a list of competing companies.
Coverage
Where we operate
We currently match enquiries across eight regions: Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, Tauranga, Dunedin, Napier, and Nelson, covering both the main centres and the suburbs around them. If you're outside those areas, submit a free quote anyway; coverage is growing and we'll let you know if we can't match your suburb yet.
